Sophie’s skin before using Lumie Clear

23 year old Sophie* has been battling acne for years. Sophie has recently completed Lumie Clear’s ‘See the Difference’ Challenge. Here she tells her story.

“After years of battling acne and trying every topical treatment as well as different GP prescribed medication, I was referred to a dermatologist who put me on Roaccutane. I was on it for nine months. Nine months of dry skin, dry lips, hair loss and regular depression check ups. After nine months it was finally worth it! I was spot free! That was until about six months later when the spots returned. I tried everything again and didn’t want to restart Roaccutane so was at a loss to know what to do. My mum found out about Lumie Clear and, looking at the fantastic reviews, I decided to give it a go!” After a week of using Lumie Clear 15 minutes a day, Sophie reported that her skin had fewer red and angry spots and felt smoother already. However, new spots were still appearing.

At week 5 of the 12-week challenge, Sophie was starting to see a real improvement: “Right cheek – much better – less red and less raised. Left cheek – much better. I am starting to see a real difference now! Spots are less prominent and easily covered by make up. Any that do come up don’t stay up for long. I’m still a happy customer!”
