After years of battling acne and trying every topical treatment as well as different GP prescribed medication, I was referred to a dermatologist where I was put on Roaccutane. I was on it for nine months. Nine months of dry skin, dry lips, hair loss and regular depression check ups. After nine months it was finally worth it! I was spot free! That was until about six months later when the spots returned. I tried everything again and didn’t want to start Roaccutane again so was lost at what to do. My mum found out about Lumie clear and, looking at the fantastic reviews, I decided to give it a go!
My original spots up the side of my cheek to my ear are disappearing but new, angry, sore ones have appeared on my chin area. I am using the Lumie Clear for 15 minutes a day in each area, sometimes twice a day if there are two areas which overlap.
Starting to see a real difference! Right cheek – much better – less red and less raised. Left cheek – much better. But a spot has appeared above my eyebrow so will start using Lumie Clear in that area now.
Still keeping up with 15 mins a day on each area as I want to see the real benefits and I am! I currently only have a few spots and my skin is much much clearer!
I used to have lots of under the skin bumps that weren’t really spots and now there are only a few of them left!
I can notice some dark spots though, is this scarring or dry patches? Skin feels a little dryer than normal.
Still keeping up with my 15 minutes a day. Skin feels very smooth with very few raised bumps!
Skin tone isn’t even though with some red areas still visible and some dark patches. Not make up free yet but much happier!
All going well – had the first make up free day yesterday and felt great!
My advice to users – keep going! The first few weeks I didn’t see a great difference but now I can see and feel a difference!
So here we are, week 12! I never thought I’d get here. Not only was I unsure if I could find time every day to use Lumie Clear, my skin also went through so many phases of being clear and then having a breakout, I wasn’t sure if it was right for me!
Fortunately I have seen a change, especially when I look back over my photos from the past twelve weeks. There is still room for improvement and I will continue to use Lumie Clear beyond this 12th week.
I do feel that having to send in pictures kept me going, because how could I send in pictures without doing the time properly?!
Overall, I am happy. Find time to fit it into your routine and you’ll see benefits. But remember, everyone is different, and don’t be disheartened if you don’t see results straight away.
